DOSSIER - Dubai / Qatar / Abu Dhabi: oil and then what?

Following Dubai's example, Qatar and Abu Dhabi, initially major oil producers, are diversifying their economies. For business travellers, this means more hotels, more MICE events, better infrastructure and increasingly efficient airports. The three flagship airlines, Qatar Airways, Etihad Airways and Emirates, are all vying for the attention of their passengers, producing luxurious Business and First lounges where some would like to be able to stay a little longer.
