Brazil's capital cities - São Paulo and Brasilia - are sometimes overlooked in favour of places with a more colourful imagination, a little more samba... And yet, these two great Brazilians, one an economic powerhouse and the other a political centre, are veritable breeding grounds for creativity, dotted with designer hotels that are in tune with international contemporary trends. São Paulo is so dense, so active in the management of its business that it is on the way to having the world's first urban fleet of helicopters.
