Dubai airport and Emirates celebrated a world first on 2 January with the inauguration of the new Concourse A, entirely dedicated to A380 aircraft. The investment, estimated at nearly 3 billion euros, should eventually increase the Dubai hub's capacity to 75 million passengers a year, compared with 60 million at present.
