EasyJet reviews its cabin baggage policy

Beware of unpleasant surprises at boarding time: EasyJet is reviewing its policy on the size of baggage accepted in the cabin, with effect from 2 July. Some suitcases could be relegated to the hold if they take up too much space.

Some business travellers will soon be forced to check their baggage into the hold, or to upgrade their equipment: from 2 July, baggage measuring less than 50 cm x 40 cm x 20 cm will be given priority. The airline reserves the right to redirect larger bags to the hold, although this is not yet systematic. Business travellers benefiting from priority boarding will therefore be able to place their baggage above their head.
