All the lights are green for the orange airline: that's what you need to remember from the annual results published on 24 January by easyJet, which has just completed a particularly buoyant year. In an airline sector in the midst of turbulence, which has seen several companies disappear in recent months, easyJet is an exception. Passenger numbers rose significantly in 2012 (+6.2% to 13.7 million passengers), and with it revenues (+9.2% to €988 million) and load factor (+1 point to 88.6%). "Although the economic environment remains challenging, the strength of our commercial offer combined with the measures taken by management mean that easyJet is well placed to continue to generate sustainable growth and returns," comments Carolyn McCall, easyJet's Chief Executive.
