With a concept that is at once lifestyle, eco and green, Eklo has found an address that reflects its image, in a new district in line with its eco-responsible DNAGrand Parilly, which will be home to the Cité Internationale des Arts du Cirque in 2025. Situated opposite a T4 tramway station, which provides a 15-minute journey to Lyon Part-Dieu station, the hotel is housed in the tallest building in the Grand Parilly district, the Quartz, with its contemporary architecture and design based on the latest technology. environmental standards. Inside, Eklo Lyon has a warm, friendly design, with high concrete walls decorated with graphics by artist Rébecca Bourbigot.
The hotel's facilities include a bar and a restaurant. a restaurant with a strong focus on local produce - Valansot charcuterie, Thévenet bakery, coffee from local roaster Los Primos, beers from Georges brewery - as well as sustainability, with downgraded fresh fruit and vegetables supplied by committed wholesaler Atypique. In addition, and among other responsible practices advocated by the hotel, the restaurant's bio-waste is collected by Les Alchimistes, an association specialising in the recovery and composting of food waste.
As well as accommodation for families, backpackers and business travellers alike, the hotel also offers a cosy space dedicated to mobile workers with free Wi-Fi. For corporate events, Eklo Lyon offers a meeting room that can accommodate a dozen people, as well as a private events area with a library, shared kitchen, table football and covered terrace.
After setting up in Lyon, Eklo is looking forward to new developments, particularly in Montpellier in 2023, but also in two of Paris's leading business travel destinations, near Paris CDG airport at the end of January and at Porte de Versailles in early 2024.
