The Fairmont Tokyo hotel, due to open in 2025, will have 219 rooms

We will therefore have to wait 2025 to see Fairmont take its first steps on the Japanese market. The Fairmont Tokyo project was unveiled at the end of May by the group Accor. While information about this first establishment is still sketchy, we do know that it will be a 219 keys. These will be installed on the upper floors of the project's South Tower. Shibauraand will overlook Tokyo Bay. This location should enable the Fairmont Tokyo to attract a significant proportion of business travellers, especially as the airport at Tokyo-Haneda can be reached in less than 20 minutes by car. The proximity of Hamamatsucho station is also emphasised by those responsible for the project.

The Fairmont Tokyo's other business assets include a meetings & events offer with meeting rooms and function rooms. As for wellness, the hotel will boast a spa, a fitness centre and a swimming pool. Fairmont's first Japanese address should also include three restaurants and bars.

" We are delighted to welcome the Fairmont Tokyo to our portfolio of great hotels, providing a stunning backdrop where glamour meets culture, and where guests and locals will come together to create memories. "Garth Simmons, Accor's Managing Director for South East Asia, Japan and South Korea, promises. " Like all Fairmont properties worldwide, the hotel is set to become the epicentre of Tokyo's social scene and will bring a new level of personalised service and thoughtful luxury to the city. "continues Garth Simmons.
