Finistair launches on the Brest-Bordeaux route

Brittany-based Finistair has been operating flights between Brest and Bordeaux since 16 November. Two weekly flights are available for business travellers.

Clearly positioned in the business travelthe new line Brest-Bordeaux provided by Finistair has been operational since Tuesday. The nine-seater CESSNA Gran Caravan makes its flights twice a week. From Brest, it departs every Tuesday at 7am and Thursday at 4pm. Take-off from Bordeaux is on Tuesday mornings at 9.30 am and Thursday evenings at 6.30 pm, for a flight time of 1 hour 50 minutes.

Launched in 1981, Finistair is best known for its route to the island of Ushant, operated under a public service obligation. This route represents on average 4,000 passengers a year. In 2020, the Breton carrier was bought out by the W3 group, and acquired a second aircraft to support its development.
