
As every year, the Global Henley Passport Index ranks the passports that open the doors to the greatest number of countries without a visa. The 2018 edition crowned the Japanbusiness travellers can reach as many as 189 destinations. The Japanese passport thus overtakes another Asian country, Singaporewhich ranks second with Germany (188 countries). Visit France (187) is high up on the third step of the podium, along with Finland, Italy, South Korea, Spain and Sweden. At the bottom of the pack are Somalia, Syria, Afghanistan and Iraq (30). The Global Henley Passport Index 2018 is also marked by the significant progress made by Ukraine (+20 places), Georgia (+19) and the Czech Republic (+15). China (+17). Chinese business travellers now have visa-free access to 70 countries worldwide.
