Deutsche Hospitality has unveiled a new lifestyle brand with a funky, upmarket feel: House of Beats. Another announcement was the debut of the InterCity brand in Rome, at Tiburtina station.

Deutsche Hospitality is expanding its high-end lifestyle offering. Back in July, the German group announced a partnership with Porsche Design for the launch of Steigenberger Porsche DesignThese naturally luxurious establishments, with their obviously contemporary interiors, will soon be appearing in major international cities.

In the last few days, Deutsche Hospitality has gone one step further by unveiling another brand, this time in thefunkier spiritbut still top of the range: House of Beats. Art, fashion, music: in this niche, the German group could already count on its Jaz in the City brand, which has just undergone its third expansion in Vienna. With House of Beats, the parent company of Steigenberger hotels is taking this arty concept to the next level. The brand is aimed at "to lifestyle-oriented people who expect more from a hotel brand than the market usually offerssaid Marcus Bernhardt, CEO of Deutsche Hospitality. House of Beats transforms the hotel into a podium.

In addition to this festive dimension, the brand also has a digital component, with the customer journey merges the physical and the digital. Check in/out, room keys, menu, music: contactless technologies play a full part in the experience. In terms of catering, House of Beats will be offering 'The Beast' gastronomic concept, focusing on sustainability, with dishes guaranteed to contain no colourings or preservatives. It's a concept that makes "at the same time" its credo, as it caters for vegetarians and meat lovers alike.

The first House of Beats hotels will appear soon in Hamburg and MilanThis will undoubtedly be the case for other major cities around the world. " Our aim is to become one of Europe's leading hotel brands by 2026." said Marcus Bernhardt.

Alongside the unveiling of its new House of Beats brand, Deutsche Hospitality has also announced the future debut of its mid-range IntercityHotel brand in Rome. The German group's first hotel in the Italian capital is expected to open in 2024. And, like most InterCity, it will be directly connected to a transport hubTiburtina station, where the high-speed trains that criss-cross Italy pass through. Also close to the historic centre, the hotel will offer more than 310 rooms, a bar-restaurant and six conference rooms. " Rome is a strategic location for our growth in Italy and South-East Europesaid Marcus Bernhardt. It's a city with a perfect mix of business travellers and tourists, and the IntercityHotel can cater for both groups.
