For the second year running, Paris is the leading destination for international association meetings. These are the findings of the world ranking published by the CICA (International Congress and Convention Association), the leading association for meetings. With 214 events hosted over the past year, Paris has once again overtaken Vienna (202 meetings) in the ICCA rankings. Madrid (200), Berlin (193) and Barcelona (182) complete the top 5. The ranking by country is dominated by the United States (831 meetings), ahead of Germany and Spain - 659 and 578 events respectively - while France ranks fifth with 533 international meetings organised in 2014.
