Iraq: two new business routes for Qatar Airways

Qatar will soon be adding two new destinations to its Iraqi catalogue: business travellers will be able to reach Basra and Suleymanyah via Doha from summer 2013.

The influx of business travellers to Iraq is prompting Qatar Airways to expand its range of services: on 3 June, the airline will inaugurate a new flight to Basra operated by Airbus A320. This will be followed by Sulaymanyah on 20 August 2013. The two destinations will be linked four times a week. They will join Baghdad, Najaf and Irbil in Qatar Airways' Iraqi catalogue.
