The air traffic controllers' strike scheduled for Friday will last 24 hours. ITA Airways recently announced the flights that will be affected by this industrial action. These are almost 220 domestic and international connections. Return flights between Nice and Rome (AZ 343 and AZ 354) are cancelled. As well as thirteen flights to and from Paris.
The national airline will not be the only one affected by this strike action. On 18 October, easyJet announced: " We have been informed of a national strike in Italy on Friday 21 Octoberwhich will affect air traffic control and ground handling services. Like most airlines operating to and from Italy, our flight schedule may be disrupted on this date. We advise our customers travelling to, from or within Italy on Friday 21 October to allow extra time to get to and from the airport and to check the status of their flights on our Flight Tracker on our mobile app or our website" .
