The congress centre Lille Grand Palais and the Zénith in Lille have just joined the list of certified professional meeting places ISO 20121This certification recognises the responsible management approach applied to the event industry. While other event organisers in France can boast the same certification, the Zénith de Lille is the only venue in France to be awarded this label. the first venue of its kind in France to receive this distinction. This certification recognises the efforts of the North of France's main event venues, Lille Grand Palais and the Zenith, which already received ISO 14001 certification in 2010, the benchmark for environmental management.

This new certification, the process for which was launched in January 2020, recognises the combined efforts of the region's various event industry professionals to host and organise more responsible events. To this end, Lille Grand Palais is cooperating with 87% from regular local partners in all fields, including some involved in integration and work-based assistance, such as Arcane and Elise. At the same time, the venue also has a number of partnerships with a social dimension, notably with the Red Cross and Secours Populaire.
