As usual, Apple is pulling out all the stops to create a buzz around its new product. After the iPhone 4S a few months earlier, the Cupertino-based giant is now preparing to invade the media, and then the bags of business travellers, with the third version of the iPad. "We have something you really need to see. And touch": the - relative - ambiguity of the invitation sent out to the press this week seems to be dispelled by the accompanying illustration, which shows an iPad in use. Barring any last-minute surprises, Apple is set to unveil its new iPad 3 on 7 March. It now remains to be seen what the tablet's new features will be - early rumours suggest no major advances, other than in terms of screen resolution and Siri integration - and when it will be launched on the European market.
