Two new intercontinental destinations are adding to the network of Poland's national airline : Tashkent and Riyadh. The first, the capital of Uzbekistan, has been served by LOT since 13 March. Every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, a Boeing 737 Max8 with a Premium Economy and Economy class takes off from Warsaw at 10.55pm, landing in Tashkent 9 hours later. The flight connects with nearly 80 cities in Europe and North America. Between now and May, LOT Polish Airlines will offer a fourth additional frequency, every Tuesday.
On 4 June, the Polish carrier will also launch a service to the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh.. The company will be offering four weekly flightsalso operated by Boeing 737 Max8. Flights will take off from Warsaw in the afternoon every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
More destinations and more comfort
The 2024-2028 strategy for LOT includes increasing the aircraft fleet by around 50 % (110 in 2028 compared with 75 today) and increase passenger numbers by around 70 % (16.9 million in 2028 compared with 10.3 million today).
One important segment is improving service quality and passenger satisfaction, according to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of LOT Polish Airlines, Michal Fijol. The company will be introducing new interior design standards on its wide-body aircraft. LOT also to launch Wi-Fi on long-haul flights.
The LOT Polish Airlines flight network will include almost 20 new regular destinationson both medium and long-haul routes. The national airline also plans to the renovation of its Polonez business lounge in Warsaw and the opening of a business showroom in Chicago.
