So they are going to diversify their offer, adding a " related activity "called Mama Works, by rubbing shoulders with these new-style workspacesat least on the French market.
The first Mama Works will open its doors from June, à LyonMore specifically, in the Part-Dieu district. 230 workstations and seven meeting rooms. 1,600 m² of space. As a bonus, Mama Works Lyon will also offer showers, and even a sports hall "Mama Stretches" and a music studio.
Presented as " a soothing bubble ", " a stimulating agora ", " a joyful community, a kind of Californian campus that is as studious as it is (re)creative "Mama Works intends to contribute in its own way to the rise of the coworking phenomenon. This rise in popularity was illustrated recently in Paris with the successive inaugurations of the Spaces (Regus) and WeWork.

So what will be the profile of the clientele invited to these new spaces? The Trigano family already has an idea: " Mama Works is the meeting place for new entrepreneurs, promising start-ups, experienced self-employed people and inspired freelancers looking for flexibility, freedom and sharing. ". To win them over, Mama Shelter is banking on flexibility. " Mama knows how to pamper nomads while letting them live their lives "we claim in the press release. At Mama Works, there's no classic lease, just the most flexible of subscriptions ".
The new space will be marketed in three formats: Mama Mobile, with daytime access; Mama Desk, with a dedicated open-space office that can be accessed at any time; and Mama Office, which will take the form of a private office that can be customised for groups of two to ten people.
After Lyon, two other business destinations are already being targeted in France - Bordeaux and Lille - but the timetable for inaugurations has not yet been specified. If this new coworking formula proves to be as successful as expected - as it was for the hotel establishments, to the point where AccorHotels acquired a stake in the group - there is no doubt that the concept could quickly be extended to other cities in France, or further afield...
