At the halfway point of the 2026 financial year, with the summer holidays soon beckoning, the ranking of the main business destinations is becoming clearer. Navan has just published its rankings for France and internationally, based on bookings made between January 2025 and April 2026.

For 2025, the national podium was made up of Paris, Nice and Toulouse. No change at the top of the rankings this year, but Navan points to Lille's growing strength as a "European hub". The northern hub is making its mark in the top 10 at the expense of Strasbourg.

Internationally, and without great surprise, the United States retains the top spot for business destinations. Here too, the top three remain the same between 2025 and 2026. The TMC, however, highlights several trends to watch. "In 2026, India, American innovation hubs and French regional centres are among the destinations showing the strongest growth in booking volumes," note the report's authors. India is indeed ranked 6th.e position of preferred international destinations from France. And even at 3e all nationalities of travellers combined. France ranks for its part in 7the due in the first half of 2026.

In terms of cities, the study published by Navan mentions a "return of innovation hubs". The authors specify: "While New York remains in the top 5 international cities, French companies are making a strong comeback on the west coast of the United States. Las Vegas enters the rankings in 7th place, a surge undoubtedly driven by major tech trade shows, while San Francisco re-enters the top 10, propelled by the resurgence of the global AI ecosystem".
