To reach a total of 200 aircraft by 2019, to mark the 50th anniversary of the Group's founding.th anniversary: this is the ambitious objective set by Korean Air, which is getting closer to its goal by announcing the integration of nine new-generation aircraft during 2013. Two A380s, an A330-200, two B777-300ERs, two B737-900ERs, a B747-8F and a B777F will be added to the Korean carrier's fleet in the coming months. A total of 53 new aircraft are planned between now and 2018, including ten B787-9s. Coincidentally, this announcement comes just after the Boeing Dreamliner was grounded by the aviation safety authorities.
