A fifth SkyTeam lounge has just opened at Dubai airport. At the end of the year, the airline alliance will inaugurate another lounge in Beijing. More than 960 m2 now await business travellers from the SkyTeam network in Dubai airport's new terminal D, with a capacity of 180 passengers. The lounge, designed by Brandimage, uses wood to guarantee business travellers "elegance, intimacy and individual comfort", according to the press release issued by the airline alliance. The lounge features a separate TV room, a VIP area, showers and a laptop bar. The lounge also offers a buffet and a winebar with a wide selection of wines. Finally, a digital gallery set up with Digitalarti reconciles art and technology, showcasing digital works of art that will change every quarter.
Dubai airport thus joins London Heathrow, Sydney, Hong Kong and Istanbul in the club of destinations equipped with these new SkyTeam lounges, while a sixth lounge is due to open by the end of the year in Beijing.
