Le Edeis Group specialises in infrastructure development, including several for airports. Edeis manages 17 airports in France and the French overseas departments and territories. These are mainly regional hubs, such as Angers, Dijon, Dole, Lorient, Mayotte, Reims and Saint-Martin. Edeis aims to transform some of its hubs into regional mini-hubs. These include Nîmes and Tours airports.
Edeis will be working with the regional airline L'Odyssey, a Jet Airlines brand.. Nîmes is seen as a city with great potential and an ambitious economic and cultural outreach strategy. Its airport already handles more than 252,000 passengers a year.
Seven towns linked to Nîmes by 2025
L'Odyssey, in partnership with the city of Nîmes and Edeis, will launch services to seven European and French cities. In this case Ajaccio, Bastia, Nice, Geneva and Barcelona. The flight to Geneva will continue on Verona while the Nice route will continue towards Milan.
