Outlook
Teleworking, videoconferencing... the world of work is undergoing a permanent revolution.
And yet. How can the personal bond be totally absent from a negotiation or from the loyalty of foreign customers? Will the pleasure of meeting up with partners or colleagues at a seminar, exchanging ideas and joking, always have the same flavour behind the coldness of our screens? Of course, the need to travel effectively is coming back to the fore, in line with an approach that is now aware of the need to reduce our carbon footprint.
The considerable economic damage affecting the transport, hotel, meetings and events sectors will also reshape the supply side of the market in the long term, as will our consumer choices. Governments are speeding up these changes, playing on the public aid policies granted to national players in an attempt to strike a balance between economic recovery, pragmatism and the energy transition.
So, positive? Definitely! What better signal than to have this issue in your hands? Read the magazine Voyages d’Affaires However, today's gesture might seem to you to be delightfully out of step with current events. Enjoy your reading!
