Passengers with Emerald or Sapphire status in the oneworld alliance frequent flyer programme are entitled to priority delivery of their luggage, on any of the alliance's X carriers and in any class of travel. Since 1 December, the alliance has also been offering its Saphir members an additional baggage allowance (15kg on top of the usual economy class allowance for weight-based allowance systems, or a second bag weighing up to 23kg for allowance systems based on the number of pieces of baggage).
