Based on the theme of the Grand Siècle, the Théâtre Molière covers an area of 3,500 m², with a foyer of 450 m2, an amphitheatre seating 500 people with a 30 m² LED screen and retractable stands, as well as 11 modular meeting rooms ranging from 40 to 250 m². All at a cost of €12 million. Above all, following the rules of classical theatre, the congress centre offers a unity of place, time and action since it is located in the heart of the city. While Le Puy du Fou is open to the general public from Easter to All Saints' Day, this accommodation can welcome conference-goers all year round, opening according to demand. The new Puy du Fou comes strengthen the offering of the Vendée destinationThe region already had two venues for major business events, both facing the ocean: the Les Atalantes conference centre in Les Sables d'Olonne, with an 800-seat auditorium and nine meeting rooms for a capacity of 1,200 people for cocktails, and the Odysséa conference centre in Saint Jean de Monts. This beachfront venue also has a 400-seat auditorium, 12 meeting rooms and can organise meals for up to 900 guests.

Vendée Globe Challenge: the start is imminentThe village Vendée Globe will open its doors on October 17 until November 8, when the 33 skippers will set sail for the open sea for the ninth edition of this non-stop round-the-world sailing race. Aimed at the general public, with a strict health protocol this year, including one-way traffic and a capacity limited to 5,000 people, the village also welcomes businesses, many of them local and regional, but also, for 25 % of them, national in scope. To this end, a Hospitality Village offers 500m² of conference space and around fifteen dressing rooms ranging from 25m² to 150m². This year, the boat L'Espérance will also be available for seminars and cocktail parties for around a hundred people, moored in the harbour or at sea, weather permitting. On the day of the big departure, around twenty boats with capacity for 45 to 180 people are chartered to follow this unique moment.
