Qatar Airways baggage allowance has been increased from 23kg to 30kg in Economy class, from 30kg to 40kg in Business class and from 40kg to 50kg in First class. This greater tolerance applies from 1 January.er September, but will not affect the number of baggage items carried, which will remain unchanged. "In view of the growing number of passengers travelling for longer and longer periods, we felt it was essential to increase our baggage allowance," explains Akbar Al Baker, Chairman and CEO of Qatar Airways.
