Located 2.6 kilometres from the airport terminals and 25 minutes from the city centre, this upscale hotel with a contemporary design inspired by Scandinavian aesthetics offers 171 rooms and suites, designed for both transit stays and longer visits. While flight crews will enjoy a dedicated lounge, business travellers will also find opportunities for professional meetings with flexible event spaces of 285 m². A growing airport
The Radisson Blu brand is participating in the growth of Almaty Airport. While the platform of the former Kazakh capital has a more regional focus than the Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport in Astana, it is undergoing significant expansion, notably with the opening of a new international terminal in 2024, capable of handling 7 million passengers with its 12 gates. This will allow it to increase capacity to 14 million passengers per year, with a target of 50 million by 2050.
Within the ADP Group, through its Turkish subsidiary TAV, Almaty Airport has entered the Skytrax top 100 rankings for the first time, at 89th place, designating it as the best airport in Central Asia. With traffic growing by 4% last year, its expansion has recently been reflected in new long-haul connections, with the launch of a Thai AirAsia X route to Bangkok in 2025, followed by Air China to Chengdu in 2026, Asiana to Seoul Incheon, and since last March, a Lufthansa flight from Frankfurt which also serves Astana.
