Radisson is stepping up its expansion in France. After recently announcing several key developments, including the takeovers of the Pullman at Roissy CDG and the Banke Opera hotel in Paris, the group is conquering a new major regional city with the opening of a hotel in Clermont-Ferrand. After Reims in 2024, then Montpellier last spring, and before Cannes and Bourges in the coming years, the group's growth is now focusing on the centre of France.

" France is a strategic market for us, and the opening of the Radisson Hotel Clermont-Ferrand illustrates our ambition to expand in key regional centres. "said Joep Peeters, Senior Vice President Franchise, Radisson Hotel Group. Located in the heart of the Auvergne capital, not far from the Place de Jaude, the Notre-Dame-du-Port Basilica and the Michelin Museum, the new Radisson Hotel Clermont-Ferrand is the result of a virtually in-house transfer.

This opening follows the renovation of a former Kyriad Prestige, bearing in mind that Kyriad's parent company, Louvre Hotels, and Radisson both have the Chinese group Jin Jiang as their main shareholder. This handover enables the upmarket Radisson brand to offer a refurbished hotel with 81 rooms and suites, featuring a contemporary design inspired by the Art Deco aesthetic.

In line with current trends, the hotel features a lounge bar and flexible living areas where guests can work or relax. For quieter moments, 24-hour room service offers comforting meals and regional platters served in the privacy of your room. There is also a wellness and fitness centre on the sixth floor of the hotel, with a view of the Puy de Dôme. Business travellers will also find at the Radisson Hotel Clermont-Ferrand four meeting rooms that can accommodate up to 150 people.
