
Milan, Venice, Florence: the Radisson group is set to strengthen its upmarket offering in several of Italy's major cities. Between now and the end of the summer, its premium brand Radisson Collection will see the materialisation of several projects that have already been announced. At the end of August, in Milan, the former headquarters of the Touring Club Italiano, a historic building dating from the end of the 19th century, will see the arrival of an elegant 89-room hotel. Between now and the end of the summer, its premium brand Radisson Collection will see the materialisation of several projects that have already been announced. At the end of August, in Milan, the former headquarters of the Touring Club Italiano, a historic building dating from the end of the 19th century, will see the arrival of an elegant 89-room hotel. Situated close to the "fashion quadrilateral" and a ten-minute walk from the Duomo, the Radisson Collection Palazzo Touring Club Milan will also offer an upmarket restaurant, Bertarelli, and a meeting area with six meeting rooms.
The future Radisson Collection Venice will be moving into Palazzo Nani between now and September, a building that is just as historic but much older, dating back to the 16th century. Close to the Ponte delle Guglie and overlooking the Cannaregio Canal, this Renaissance palace has been restored to make room for 52 bedrooms and 3 flats, with a garden in the courtyard.
More business-oriented, the Radisson Blu in Florence will be equipped withone of the largest convention centres in Tuscany with no fewer than 10 meeting rooms and 1,500 m2 of convention and event space. Expected to open in early December, the hotel will be located slightly away from the city centre, on the hill of San Miniato al Monte, and will offer 329 rooms and suites, two restaurants and a bar, as well as top-of-the-range leisure facilities including an outdoor swimming pool, two tennis courts and a fitness room.
Alongside these top-of-the-range developments, the group's expansion plan also includes its Radisson brand. In the third quarter of 2021, the four-star brand will be setting up in the heart of the historic city of Ferrara, with an 80-room hotel equipped with three meeting rooms, as well as in the city centre. a fast-growing business area in southern Italyin Nola, in the Naples metropolitan area. Close to the headquarters of companies such as CIS, Alstom, PPG, Alenia and Leonardo Aerospace, the Radisson Naples Nola will offer 150 rooms and suites, three meeting rooms and a designer restaurant.
Radisson Individuals, the group's new brand for characterful independent establishments, is also to make its debut in Italy. Thanks to a partnership with the Mira Group, the Radisson Individuals offer will take root in the Sicilian countryside with a 120-room resort, the Borgo di Luce I Monasteri Golf Resort & Spa. Another resort under the new banner, but in a much more mountainous style this one: the Alagna Mountain Resort & Spa. In the Piedmontese Alps, this chalet-style hotel offers everything you need for luxurious relaxation, with 49 suites, two restaurants, a spa and heated indoor and outdoor pools. The hotel is also ideal for top-class seminars, with a multimedia meeting room for up to 80 people.

Radisson active on both sides of the Mediterranean
But the Group's development is also continuing on the other side of the Mediterranean, in Morocco. After recently announcing a new facility in CasablancaIn addition to the Radisson Casablanca Gauthier, expected in 2023, the group will welcome seven new hotels in its portfolio, including four as of July. All owned by the Madaëf company, they join the two hotels that the hotelier currently offers in Morocco, the Radisson Blu Casablanca City Center and Radisson Blu Marrakech Carré Eden.

These seven hotels are mainly add a strong leisure component to Radisson's Moroccan offeringAll with a residential component.
And so, on the Mediterranean coastIn Al Hoceima, in northern Morocco, a 432-room Radisson Blu resort and a Radisson Blu Residences, comprising 142 units with one, two or three bedrooms, have just been added to the group's offering. Another resort has also been added in the resort of Saïdia, near the Algerian border, set in a marina with two 18-hole golf courses, an aquapark and numerous restaurants. This 397-room Radisson Blu complex will be completed in 2022 with 192 Radisson Blu Residences units.
On the Atlantic coastThe Radisson Blu Resort, Taghazout Bay Surf Village will open this month, while the long-stay Radisson Residences Taghazout Bay will open in the first quarter of 2023 with 208 keys.
Take-off expected at Beijing Daxing airportIn the first quarter of 2022, the Radisson brand will be setting up near Beijing's new international hub, Daxing. Located in the airport economic zoneLocated just 1.2 km from the international terminal, the hotel is part of a complex comprising hotels, offices and shops, and its construction is part of a green project, with the site set to receive LEED Platinum certification on completion. The future Radisson will offer 239 rooms and suites, two restaurants, an indoor swimming pool, a fitness room, as well as an executive lounge and a business centre. An establishment ideally suited to business travellers, especially as it will also have a strong MICE component with a boardroom, four meeting rooms and a ballroom for up to 300 people. |
