Ready just in time for the Women's World Cup Final. On 27 September, the " temple of rugby " - London's Twickenham Stadium, now known as the Allianz Stadium, will see the two best teams enter this legendary venue. While the match could break an attendance record for women's rugby, fans of the Rose XV, the great favourites in the competition, will find a brand new place to eat and even stay. With a view of the pitch.
The Radisson RED London Twickenham has just opened its doors after a long transformation phase. Taking over from the Marriott Hotel, which opened in 2009 in the South Stand, this new hotel adds the lifestyle touch that is characteristic of the Radisson RED brand. The design focuses on the stars of English rugby, evoked in particular on the headboards of the 150 rooms, including the Rose and Legend suites.
Given its location, the Radisson RED London Twickenham sees itself first and foremost as a place to relax and socialise, with a restaurant offering essential basics from pizzas and sandwiches to traditional fish & chips to satisfy sports fans and international travellers alike. Located on the hotel's mezzanine level, the Loft offers a space to celebrate victories on match days over a pint or two, and the rest of the time to enjoy cocktails prepared by a team of mixologists.

But the Loft is also one of the key points of the hotel's MICE offer, with a capacity of up to 200 people in theatre format. This 250 m² space can also be divided into three zones, for meetings, meals and breaks. All this is in addition to six 30 m² rooms for meetings and executive committees with a view of the stadium.
"More than a hotel, it's a destination": this is what the establishment is promoting to attract meeting organisers. Twickenham Stadium also boasts a rugby museum, a sports and wellness club with indoor pool and a conference centre, making it an ideal venue for conferences, conventions or seminars with a sporting theme.
" The arrival of the Radisson RED brand in an iconic sports stadium is an important and exciting milestone "said Adela Cristea, Development Director for the UK, Ireland and Nordic countries at Radisson Hotel Group. While this is a first for the lifestyle brand, it is not a first for the group, one of the most represented in football stadiums across the Channel, whether in Blackpool, Bolton and soon Oxford. What's more, the Radisson Blu brand will have a front-row seat at Manchester City's stadium, the Etihad Stadium, with a hotel with more than 400 rooms expected to open in 2026 as part of the extension to the North Stand.
