Ryanair is taking advantage of the lifting of restrictions in Europe and the Mediterranean basin by increasing its capacity in France. The airline points out that it will be offering its biggest summer programme on the ports of call Bordeaux and Marseille. At the same time, it is also densifying its lines on Beauvais near Paris.
Departing from the metropolis of Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Ryanair will offer 11 new routes, mainly to Spain and Italy. A total of 42 destinations during the summer season.
Some of the new services will certainly be of interest to business travellers. These include flights between Bordeaux to Barcelona, Birmingham, Madrid, Malta and Rome Fiumicino. On the leisure front, passengers will also have the choice of Alghero, Brindisi, Pisa and Trapani in Italy. In Spain, Ryanair will serve Santiago de Compostela and in Croatia Zadar. In total, Ryanair will be present with 120 weekly rotations.
Marseille increasingly important for Ryanair in France
A Marseillethe carrier positions a fifth aircraft and boosts its offer to 60 destinations over the summer. Ten new destinations have been added to the network. For business travellers, Ryanair routes to Berlin, East Midlands, La Rochelle or Luxembourg are likely to be attractive. On the leisure front, Ryanair will be serving Lanzarote, Madeira, Santiago de Compostela, Shannon, Tenerife South and Venice. In total, the airline will offer 240 weekly flights, some of which will be operated by the Boeing 737 8-200 "Gamechanger", which offers 4 % more seats and consumes 16 % less fuel.
Beauvais also benefits
A BeauvaisThe ultra-low-cost carrier is not to be outdone. Lhe company has announced 13 new routes. This brings the total number of routes served from the low-cost airport to 61. New routes include those to Agadir, Edinburgh, Gdansk, Helsinki, Leeds/Bradford, Liverpool, Madeira, Malaga, Riga, Santander, Tallinn and Turin. That's 240 frequencies a week.
