The brand new Premium Economy class will be introduced by Singapore Airlines on the Singapore-Sydney route, and will be fitted on the airline's Airbus A380, Boeing 777-300ER and future Airbus A350 aircraft. It will make its debut in Paris a month later, with three flights a week, before being introduced on a daily basis from the beginning of October. On board, the new seats, 97 cm apart, will offer a space of 47 to 49 cm, depending on the type of aircraft, and a recline of more than 20 cm. They will be equipped with an individual 34 cm HD touch screen - a record for this class according to the airline - and high-definition noise-cancelling headphones. Leather trim, leg rests, foot rests: this new Premium class focuses on elegance and comfort, while incorporating practical technological features, including a power supply, two USB ports, and integrated personal lighting to make reading easier.
