Already present in Bamako (Mali), Johannesburg and Cape Town (South Africa), Radisson Blu is continuing its breakthrough in sub-Saharan Africa. The chain has just opened its first establishment in Senegal. The Radisson Blu Dakar is located on the Corniche Fann, the city's residential and diplomatic district. This address reinforces a four-star offer of international renown too little present in the Senegalese capital. Its decoration remains faithful to the Radisson spirit.
The design spirit is the common thread running through this 180-room establishment, from the lobby to the French (L'Avenue) and Italian (Fellini) restaurants and the infinity pool overlooking the ocean. Guests can also relax in the Little Buddha Bar & Spa Dakar. The business area offers seven modular meeting rooms covering 500 m2 and can accommodate up to 300 people in a theatre setting. The 300 m2 plenary room is equipped with the latest audiovisual technology.
The Scandinavian chain has other projects on the continent. Next step: the opening before the end of the year of a 142-room hotel in Lusaka, the Zambian capital. Then, in 2012, three establishments have been announced in Luanda (Angola), Lagos and Abuja (Nigeria).
