Threat of strike action at Air France: notice for 30 March

The Air France KLM group could be hit by strike action again at the end of the month: three unions have given notice for 30 March, but the impact of the strike is expected to be limited.

Despite recent agreements negotiated between Air France and the unions, the company is threatened by a strike called by the CGT, CFDT and FO. The joint unions are denouncing "the lack of visibility on the overall industrial project, which is creating serious concerns about the future of the company and its jobs". The press release adds that "the credibility of the members of the Air France Executive Committee is being called into question by employees of all categories". However, the strike should only affect ground staff, limiting the impact on passengers. The pilots' and cabin crew unions have not joined the strike.
