Supertripper, a business travel agency and subsidiary of the Marietton Développement Group, is now directly connecting its platform to the booking system of Trenitalia France. Frecciarossa high-speed trains linking Paris to Lyon, Marseille and Milan now appear in search results, with fares identical to those displayed by the Italian operator, with no booking commission or mark-up. Tickets can be modified and cancelled online, independently, just like the rest of the Supertripper offer.
This connection continues a strategy that the agency has been developing supplier by supplier for several years. « It is a comprehensive rail strategy that dates back a few years now. », explains Maxime Pialat, founder and CEO of Supertripper, pointing out that his teams have « completely overhauled their train interface in order to integrate a maximum of suppliers live »Stated objective: to respond to the arrival of new competitors on the French rail network and cover the whole of Europe via the platform.
A dedicated API, developed for the French market
According to Maxime Pialat, for this connection, has been designed « a specific API, a specific connection method for France », which he describes as « latest generation " : " a cut above anything else on the market ». The director claims a prior presence in the online train sector: « back in 2019, we were pioneers in the digitalisation of online pre-sales modification and management for the rail sector », he points out, before insisting: « we are the first business travel agency to connect directly with Trenitalia, we are very proud of that. "
A shared shareholder facilitates this merger. The investment fund Certares, which has held 49 % of Marietton Développement's capital since 2018, recently invested 300 million euros in Trenitalia France in December 2025, alongside the FS Group. Maxime Pialat mentioned this link during the announcement, without making it a condition for the technical connection, which relies on the API developed by Trenitalia France.
Trenitalia has been running services from Paris to Lyon, Paris to Marseille and Paris to Milan since its arrival on the French market in December 2021. The Paris-Lyon route, the busiest on the network, increased to 14 daily return trips on weekdays from 14 December 2025, compared with 9 previously. Among these rotations, 8 stop in Lyon, 4 continue to Marseille and 2 to Milan. The connection to Marseille, opened on 15 June 2025, also serves Lyon Saint-Exupéry, Avignon TGV and Aix-en-Provence TGV.
Four comfort classes, including a private meeting room
Every Frecciarossa offers 4 classes and 2 ambiances to choose from, Silenzio for quiet or Allegro for a more sociable experience, with onboard catering, free unlimited WiFi, and power sockets at every seat. The Sala Meeting, a private room for two to five people equipped with a meeting table and a 32-inch screen, specifically targets business travellers. All classes are now visible in Supertripper results, displaying fares sorted by conditions and their compliance with the travel policy before selection. Furthermore, a single journey can combine two rail operators, with each segment remaining independently modifiable.
