The Lufthansa Group airline is thus offering a new "AirPortr optionwhich passengers can use to request collection of their luggage from homeThis can be booked up to 23 days before their flight. After checking their identity documents and boarding card, customers will be given a digital luggage tag to trace their baggage, which is sealed under Swissport's responsibility. Travellers will not see their baggage again until they arrive at their destination, on the airport conveyor belt.
