Voco, one of IHG's most dynamic brands, continues to expand with new hotels in Venice and Melbourne, with Guadalajara and Auckland to follow. What all these developments have in common is the contemporary style of the hotels and their wide range of events.

A convenient location for business travellers, close to the ring road linking Mestre to Marco Polo international airport and the Venice-Mestre railway station.
This ideal location for business trips is complemented by the hotel's meeting facilities, which include five meeting rooms with capacities ranging from 10 to 170 people. The establishment also has 128 rooms combining functionality and contemporary style, and a fitness room. For those who want to relax, there's a restaurant and a bar where you can enjoy local dishes, as well as links to a play area, in a "work & play" spirit. In fine weather, travellers can also enjoy the terrace while chatting with colleagues over a cocktail.
Voco continues to expand from Latin America to New Zealand
Since its launch in 2018, voco now has 35 hotels worldwide, with as many more in the pipeline over the next three to five years. Among these planned openings, the brand will enter Mexico at the end of 2022in Guadalajara. The hotel, owned by the Vertex Ophthalmic group, will be located in Guadalajara's financial district, as part of the multifunctional Neruda 2828 development. Occupying five of its 11 floors, the voco hotel will have 104 rooms, a restaurant and bar, a business centre and a rooftop terrace. Another project in Mexico with the same business vocation is voco Saltillo, due to open in 2023. Located in the city's automotive and manufacturing district, the establishment will offer 125 suites and over 700 m2 of meeting spaceThere is also a restaurant, bar and indoor swimming pool.

Prior to this expansion in Central America, the brand also conquered two of the Pacific's major cities, Auckland and Melbourne. In Australia, the voco Melbourne Central took up residence a few weeks ago in a new skyscraper in the city centre, 380 Melbourne. The programme includes 252 rooms with views of the city skyline, a contemporary design combined with landscaping in line with the brand's sustainable criteria, and a Blacksmith Brasserie & Bar restaurant focusing on roast meats and extending onto an outdoor terrace. Business travellers are not forgotten in this extensive inventory with 493 m2 of event space on three floors. With eight rooms, you can choose between a boardroom, rooms for medium-sized events and a flexible 3-in-1 space with meeting rooms, the largest of which has a private terrace for pleasant breaks.
Still Down Under, voco set to appear in June in the heart of New Zealand's main metropolis, AucklandOne of these towers will house a 294-room Holiday Inn Express hotel. The voco tower, meanwhile, will house 201 rooms and suites this summer, as well as an Italian trattoria and a rooftop bar - the highest in the country. These two venues, which can be hired privately for corporate events, complement the hotel's meeting facilities, which are based on five flexible meeting rooms.
