The 2025 summer season of Volotea in France is characterised by a high number of new intra-Hexagon routes. Even though some regional routes are disappearing, such as the flights between Lyon and Caen or between Strasbourg and Biarritz and Montpellier.
On the other hand, the carrier is returning after a four-year absence to Beauvais with two weekly flights to Bastia. Volotea will touch down on the tarmac of the low-cost airport from 6 July. Volotea is also launching four weekly services from 30 May between Bordeaux and Marseille. From 4 April, there will also be two weekly flights to and from Lyon to Strasbourg route, while on 1 September the company will launch the Rennes-Toulouse. Again, two flights a week.
However, the biggest increase on the national network will occur at Rodezthe latest Volotea base in France. Since last September, the Aveyron prefecture has benefited from two daily flights to Paris-Orly. From 12 April, there will also be two weekly flights, one to Paris-Orly. Ajaccio, the other towards Bastia. A weekly frequency on Figari will complete this offer from 13 April. Finally, on 2 May, Volotea will inaugurate two weekly flights to Lille.
While Volotea is strengthening its domestic network, it is abandoning a large number of routes to major European business cities, which is bad news for business travellers.
The high cost of air taxes has led to the suspension of all routes to the United States.Germanya decision that affects Bordeaux, Lyon, Strasbourg and Toulouse. Compared to summer 2024, Bordeaux will also lose its connections to Athens and Verona, Lille to Rome and Venice, Lyon and Paris-Orly to Bilbao, Marseille to Florence, Nantes to Vienna, Strasbourg to London-Gatwick and Toulouse to Athens.

Also worth noting is the launch of a line of Rodez to Porto.
