The United States bans the entry of foreign travellers, with rare exceptions. The ban was imposed in March 2020 by an executive order issued by former President Donald Trump. Joe Biden cancels Donald Trump's reopening promises

So no one yet knows how long the compulsory quarantine will last. The agencies are therefore working on means of verification that travellers comply with the quarantine. President Biden has asked those involved to make their conclusions within 14 days.
At home, Joe Biden is now imposing the wearing a mask for all types of transport. This applies not only to air travel, but also to rail and public transport. Masks are also compulsory in federal buildings.
These measures may be restrictive, but they also have a more optimistic side for future visitors.
