The long-stay brand Residence Inn by Marriott is part of a vast urban project in Copenhagennamely the ongoing revitalisation of the Nordhavn district - or North Harbour. Once a port and industrial district, it is now a contemporary and sustainable place to live, with restaurants and cafés, a swimming area, a recreation area, a cinema and supermarkets.
Close to all this, as well as to the embassies in the Danish capital, the future Residence Inn will be built in 2023 and will offer 95 apartment-style suites for business and leisure travellers. With a view of the sea or the hotel's courtyard, these rooms, designed by Henning Larsen Architects, offer separate living, working and relaxation areas, including a fully-equipped kitchen and an office. Hotel guests will also have access to a private lounge, fitness facilities and can also hire bicycles during their stay.
The Residence Inn also boasts easy access to transport links to Copenhagen city centre and international airport, as well as to Oslo and Norway via the DFDS ferry. Part of the Nordø development owned by PFA Properties, the hotel is the result of an agreement signed by Marriott with Danish hotel operator Core Hospitality.

Green Key for sustainable operations" said Per Denker Sørensen, CEO of Core Hospitality, which is also Marriott's partner for the Moxy Sydhavnen in Copenhagen and the other hotels that this lifestyle brand is preparing to open this year in Norway, in Bergen and Tromso.
