Two aircraft based, 35 destinations this winter and for the 2022 summer season. Ryanair has become a major player in air transport in Riga, the capital of Latvia. The investment for this new base, which opened in November, amounted to 200 million dollars. The carrier added 17 new destinations to the network it already operated from the Baltic metropolis.
Among the new features, Beauvais airport north of Paris is now linked by two weekly flights. In Paris, however, the company competes with Air Baltic which offers a daily flight from CDG.
Ryanair also offers three weekly frequencies to Charleroi airport south of Brussels. Here again, it is in direct competition with Air Baltic, which serves Brussels Zaventem airport (more centrally located) up to six times a week.
