Air France, a strong comeback to the United States

Orly-New York, CDG-Dallas and CDG-Denver are on the Air France summer schedule. KLM confirms its arrival on Amsterdam-Austin.

Since the US borders to reopen in November 2021, Air France gradually reinforces its services to the United Statesthe airline's leading long-haul destination in terms of the number of seats offered.

Air France currently serves 11 destinations in the United States (Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles), MiamiNew York JFK, SeattleSan Francisco and Washington D.C.). Supply between France and the United States returned to 2019 levels by 90%.

The company is further expanding its presence for the 2022 summer season. From 27 March, the airline will resume flights between Paris-Orly and New York JFK.. It will offer one daily flight. New York will once again be linked to the two Paris airports - Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Orly. Air France will offer a total of up to 7 daily flights.

On the same day, Air France to reopen Paris-Charles de Gaulle - Dallas service (Texas), with up to 5 weekly flights. This will be followed on 4 May by the relaunch of the seasonal service between CDG and Denver (Colorado)with 3 weekly flights.

14 destinations to the USA this summer

In summer 2022, Air France will offer 14 destinations in the United States from Paris: Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis, New York JFK, San Francisco, Seattle and Washington D.C. This will represent 200 weekly flights, i.e. 20% more than in summer 2019. However, this flight schedule may change depending on travel restrictions.

Before travelling, Air France invites its customers to check entry requirements and documents required on arrival at destination.

"Ready to Fly" now available on all flights to and from the United States

In July 2021, Air France launched "Ready To Fly", a free, optional service enabling customers to confirm that they have all the necessary health documents and proof of entitlement for their journey before they get to the airport. The result: a smoother journey, avoiding multiple checks on the day of departure.

Popular with customers, Ready To Fly is gradually being rolled out across the entire Air France network. IIt is now available on more than 140 routes from 80 airports, representing more than 600 daily flights, including all flights to and from the United States..

It should also be remembered that On 28 March, KLM will launch three weekly frequencies between Amsterdam and Austin in Texas. The airline will deploy a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.
