The presentation of the new generation Galaxy S was eagerly awaited, given the success and performance of last year's Galaxy S21. On 9 February, Samsung unveiled its new Galaxy S22 collection with a very special premium model, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. Visit S ranges from the Korean manufacturer usually highlight their photo and video performance. The same is true this year with the Galaxy S22 and S22+, which enhance their sensor block, not to mention their optimised sensitivity, battery life and screen quality. But business travellers will be more interested in the Ultra model in the range, which in itself marks a new line in the collection.

Not only can the Galaxy S22 Ultra boast, and rightly so, of its image qualities, but it can also boast of being a tool totally dedicated to productivity. The Samsung collections called Note were half-tablet, half-smartphone devices with an associated stylus, the famous S Pen. The new premium smartphone could be called the Galaxy S22 Ultra Note! The Galaxy S22 Ultra differs from the Galaxy S22 range in that it has a stylus built into the handset, positioning it as a truly mobile work device.

Samsung has therefore combining image and productivityThe Galaxy S22 Ultra will certainly doom the Korean manufacturer's Note collection to extinction. The stylus, which is stored in the body of the handset itself, ensures speedy note-taking thanks to a very low latency of 2.8 ms. This is much better than the stylus used in previous generations of Samsung devices, so you can be as productive as ever.

Like the S22 and S22+, the Ultra features a chassis made from a new generation of aluminium alloy, claimed to be more durable. The front and rear panels are also clad in Gorilla Glass Victus to ensure that the Ultra is always ready for use. optimised resistance in the event of a fall. With its size, its squarer format with a slight curvature, and the definition of its 6.8-inch Super Amoled screen with an adaptive response time of 120 Hz, this resolutely premium smartphone nevertheless boasts a design that sets it apart from its S22 and S22 Plus siblings.

In terms of image, this top-of-the-range handset boasts a quadruple photo sensor aligned at the rear, comprising a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 108 MP camera module and two 10 MP telephoto lenses, with X3 and X10 optical zoom respectively. This double optical zoom is very promising for this smartphone as a latest-generation photophone. What's more, it comes with a fifth sensor, laser autofocus.

With the shooting quality of the Galaxy S22 Ultra, Samsung is aiming to rival the latest generation of iPhones.

According to the Korean manufacturer, the pixels of its wide-angle lens are more than 1.2 times wider than those of the Galaxy S21. The key to this is optimised shooting in the evening. Sensitivity is seen as a major asset for this generation of Ultra. It's enough to photograph and film in low-light conditions... and for Samsung to compete with Apple's prowess in this area with its latest iPhone ! Photos and videos are, of course, supported by artificial intelligence for optimum management of noise and blur, all backed up by an X100 digital zoom. In addition to these criteria, the Galaxy S22 Ultra offers optimised stabilisation of shots, as well as Super DRHDR video.

This type of multi-purpose smartphone, which will be used regularly, has a 5000 mAh battery and adds to this a 45W fast-charging capability and the can be recharged wirelessly. As a work tool, the Galaxy S22 Ultra is clearly equipped to save you time. Once the stylus is extracted from its housing, an interface instantly appears on the screen so you can take notes, write in comfort and share them with your contacts. All the functions of the Galaxy Note are there, but in a simpler, more responsive way, thanks to a new architecture featuring the new in-house processor that characterises the Galaxy S22 range. Also of note is the integration of a graphics circuit from AMD, whose chips are used in the architecture of Playstation consoles, among others.

In terms of security, in addition to the fingerprint principle, Samsung has enhanced the range of its three S22 models, starting with the Galaxy S22 Ultra, a professional mobile device, by combining them with its Knox Vault security platform. This isolates the most sensitive data (passwords, biometric data, Blockchain keys, etc.) from the smartphone's main operating system thanks to a secure processor and memory. The Galaxy S22 also introduces several new security featuresARM microarchitecture to prevent cyber attacks targeting the operating system and memory.
