THE A350-1000 will be a small revolution for the company Qantas. Its entry into the Australian carrier's fleet is in line with the company's ambition to launch the its "Sunrise" project. This will enable the company to operate the longest commercial flights in the world. CEO Alan Joyce has already announced that he sees Qantas link Sydney and Melbourne to London and New York non-stop. This would be an historic first. The company says it is also considering a possible service to Frankfurt and Paris in the future. Delivery of the aircraft is scheduled for 2024/2025.
Exceptional cabin facilities on the A350-1000
Featuring a top-of-the-range layout, the A350 fleet will offer a new cabin layout. According to initial sketches by the airline's designers, the future A350-1000s will offer first-class cabins showing separate beds and wardrobes. Economy class would offer seats with a wider spacing of 84 cm instead of the classic 77cm/78cm.

Qantas to integrate its A220s and A321XLR on domestic routes which can take more than five hours. The A321XLR will also be able to operate flights between Australia and South-East AsiaThis will enable the Qantas group to open up new direct routes.
The agreement is in addition to the existing order for 109 A320neo Family aircraft, which includes the A321XLR for the Qantas Group's low-cost subsidiary, Jetstar.
