In France, according to information released on Wednesday morning, the SNCF expects three complicated days from Friday to Sunday, with 1 train in 4 on the network Ouigo and for TGV Atlantique. We also expect 1 in 3 trains for TGV Est and South-Eastand 1 train out of 2 for the TGV Nord. Mondaytravellers should be able to count on gradual recovery service, with 3 trains out of 4 expected on all routes. The Intercités network will operate at 50%, with 1 train out of 2 during the day. No traffic is expected overnight.
Internationally, in addition to the France-Spain which will not see any traffic, the Lyria and links France - Italy will be the most affected, with 1 in 3 trains on average. Half of the trains between France and Germany will be affected.Germany will be circulating. Travel by Eurostar and in Thalys should go ahead as planned.
Passengers who have provided their contact details should be contacted this Wednesday by email or text message to let them know whether their train will be maintained or cancelled, SNCF says.
