Korean Air presents the business class of its Airbus 321neo

Korean Air has taken delivery of its first Airbus 321neo, which is being gradually rolled out across its network in December. The aircraft is equipped with fully reclining seats in Business Class.

The first device Airbus A321neo from Korean Air is a 182-seat aircraft which is mainly used on short-haul routes (up to 4 hours flight time), particularly in South-East Asia, China and Japan. The A321neo offers passengers an incomparable in-flight experience thanks to its sophisticated cabin, entertainment system and in-flight Internet access.

On taking delivery of the aircraft, Soo Keun Lee, Executive Vice President, Chief Safety and Operations Officer of Korean Air, said: "Korean Air is the world's largest airline. Fully reclining seats in Prestige class

In business class, Korean Air offers a total of 8 seats. For the first time 180-degree reclining seats are available for the Prestige class on single-aisle aircraft.

The Business Class seats on the A321neo offer optimum comfort to passengers in transit. Often transferring to destinations in South-East Asia, China or Japan, business travellers to and from Europe benefit from a comfort similar to that of a long-haul flight.

The reclining seats are also equipped with a 44 cm personal screen for on-demand audio/video services and a wireless smartphone charger.

In Economy Class, passengers can enjoy in-flight entertainment on an individual 33 cm screen. Each seat also has an adjustable headrest and an individual coat hanger..

A sophisticated, comfortable Airspace cabin

The new A321neo welcomes passengers in Business class in a sophisticated space with patchwork-inspired motifs. The mix of dark grey and gold fabrics adds to the luxurious atmosphere in the cabin.

Korean Air is also the first Asian airline to offer an Airbus Airspace cabin on an A321neo allowing all its passengers to enjoy a comfortable environment and superior in-flight services. A unique, customisable lighting system creates an atmosphere that varies according to the phase of the flight, as well as when meals are served in the cabin. Luggage compartments, which are 40 % larger than those on other A321neo modelsThe new seats offer passengers more space for their hand luggage. The toilets are also new. They feature an antibacterial coating, underlining the airline's commitment to achieving the highest levels of cleanliness and protection against viruses.
