Swiss to set course for Washington and Toronto

Swiss recently announced that it was targeting two new transatlantic destinations from Zurich. The airline's flight schedule will be expanded in the summer of 2024 with Washington D.C. and Toronto. From 28 March, Swiss will be offering daily services to the US federal capital by Airbus A330. Departure from Zurich is scheduled for 13:00, landing in Washington D.C. at 16:20. On the return leg, Swiss will leave Washington at 20:45, arriving in Zurich at 10:50 the following day.

Service to Toronto will start on 10 May. It will be operated every day by Airbus A330 except Mondays and Wednesdays. Departure from Zurich is at 9.55am, and from Washington at 4.35pm. Unlike Washington, which will be served all year round, the flight to Toronto should be seasonal, at least initially.

Also worth noting, on the European network this time, the addition of three flights a week to Košice (Slovakia) and to Cluj-Napoca (Romania).
