Radisson: new in Marseille, new in Belgrade

The Radisson Blu Marseille Vieux Port is currently undergoing renovation, and a Radisson RED is opening in Belgrade: the Radisson group presents its latest developments.

For more than fifteen years now, the Radisson Blu brand has been strategically located in the heart of Paris. Marseille, on the emblematic Old Port. Next door to two local institutions, the Bar de la Marine and the Théâtre de la Criée, this top-of-the-range establishment is the perfect place to relax and unwind, Green Key labelLast October, the hotel began a complete renovation of all 189 rooms and the lobby. This phased renovation will be completed in June.

At the end of this embellishment, the Radisson Blu Marseille Vieux Port will offer business travellers an enhanced MICE offering. Already one of the hotel's strong points, its 732m2 business area includes 12 meeting rooms equipped with the latest technology - some with a direct view of the Old Port - and a plenary room that can accommodate up to 200 participants in theatre configuration and 275 for cocktails. Businesses can also use all or part of the hotel's restaurant for their events, which is extended by two outdoor areas, an open-air patio with a bowling green and a terrace overlooking the Old Port. The hotel also boasts a rooftop pool overlooking the Palais du Pharo.

Radisson RED heads for Belgrade

In parallel with this development in France, the Radisson group is continuing to expand its lifestyle brand Radisson RED. Expected this spring in Berlin as within the Twickenham rugby stadium in London, the contemporary brand has just opened a hotel in Belgrade, the result of the takeover of an existing hotel, the Arena 88 Rooms. Completely renovated, the establishment has been redesigned to integrate the design and arty fundamentals of Radisson RED with living spaces organised around a billiard table and a fireplace, and a distinctive sign linking the past to the present: a red "Fićo" Zastava 750 car produced in the former Yugoslav car factory in Kragujevac.

Located near the National Assembly, on Takovska Street, the Radisson RED Belgrade offers business travellers 88 roomsIn addition to three flats, there is also a coworking space and two meeting rooms for 12 people that can be combined into a single 42 m² space. In addition to a fitness centre, guests will also find a restaurant and a bar in the lobby, topped off by a rooftop bar with views over the city. The Radisson Group is thus completing its offer in the Serbian capital, this latest opening joining the luxury hotel, the Radisson Collection Old Mill, and the member of its Radisson Individuals collection, the Belgrade Art Hotel.
