
In the Middle East, Air France and Transavia have confirmed the suspension of their flights to Beirut in the face of the greater threat of reprisals between Iran and Israel, which would de facto affect Lebanon.
Flights suspended until 14 August. However, on its website, Air France recommends that customers with a reservation for flights on the Lebanon scheduled until 18 August to postpone or cancel their trip free of charge.
However, MEA's France-Lebanon flights have been maintained.. Air France also continues to operate flights on Tel Avivunlike the Lufthansa group.
What's more, Air France confirms full suspension of flights to all Sahel destinations. This includes services to Bamako and Niamey (until 26 October 2024) and to Ouagadougou (until 29 March 2025).
And finally.., Amelia (8R)partner of Air France, announces that it will be discontinuing services between Paris-Orly and Brive from 3 September. Air France will automatically transfer its passengers to the Paris Orly-Aurillac route. The latter is operated by its partner Chalair.
