Brussels Airlines has unveiled its long-haul network for theSummer 2025with record capacity to theAfrica sub-Saharan Africa. The Belgian airline will operate 56 weekly flights to the region, an increase of 10 % compared to summer 2024. The capacity of the additional long-haul aircraft - bringing the total to 11 - will be deployed mainly to sub-Saharan Africa. In addition to the two North Atlantic routes linking Brussels to New York-JFK and Washington-Dulles International.
The arrival of the 11th Airbus A330 long-haul aircraft in June 2025 will mean a densification of Brussels Airlines on Africa. According to the Belgian carrier's schedule, routes to Nairobi (Kenya) and Accra (Ghana) will move to daily rotations. Banjul (Gambia), Freetown (Sierra Leone) and Conakry (Guinea) will benefit from additional frequencies.
