SNCF too greedy with frequent travellers in the North: the Region attacks

Are business travellers in Northern France being forced to pay more than in other regions? That's certainly the view of the regional council, which is preparing to appeal to the Conseil d'Etat against the "unfair" fares.
The Nord-Pas-de-Calais Regional Council is to take the SNCF to court, claiming that the fares charged by the rail company are "unfair". According to the Regional Council's calculations - 0.21 euros/km - the Paris-Lille line is twice as expensive as other provincial routes. The case is therefore due to be referred to the Conseil d'Etat by 17 October.
